Session #1 – Microsoft Project 2007 Overview: Views, Tables, Filters, and Groups
Dale will present a series of tips and tricks on navigating in a Microsoft Project. He will “dig deeper” into the Microsoft Project Data Model, demonstrating how to effectively use the default Views, Tables, Filters, and Groups in the software. He will also present an advanced filtering technique that uses a Highlight Filter with automatic Cell Background Formatting.
 
AND – Overview of Project Definition and Task Planning
Dale will present a useful six-step method for defining every new project, whether from a blank project or from any type of template. He will also present a series of tips and tricks for task planning, including skills like moving tasks, setting task dependencies, and setting task Constraints.

Dale Howard is Vice President of Educational Services of MSProjectExperts, serving as an EPM trainer and consultant. Dale possesses multiple technical certifications, including Certified Technical Trainer (CTT), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). He is a noted author and speaker, known for his lively and engaging presentations.
Dale has nearly 20 years of experience training and consulting in productivity software. He has worked with Microsoft Project since 1997 and volunteers many hours each week answering user questions in the various Microsoft Project communities. Dale continues to receive the prestigious Most Valuable Professional (MVP) yearly award for Microsoft Project since 2004 for his expertise with the software and for his contributions to the user communities.
